Sort of, but Peter was caught off guard. Also, ever since then, Mister Negative became a jobber.

I hear Mister Negative is inconsistent after his first appearance so Otto probably takes the majority.

Both at their peak, Otto doesn't have much of a case. Negative is stronger, just as fast and durable enough for anything that Superior does to be immaterial. Negative was evenly matched/superior (pun unintended) to Anti-Venom, Otto isn't even better than regular Spider-Man.

With low showings taken into account, Otto one-shoots.

@morpheus_: what about Superior Octopus? Do his Sonics/tentacles make a difference if we’re ignoring Negatives low showings? In fairness Otto was slightly out maneuvering and outreacting the Tomi clone who was supposedly every bit as fast.
