The Punisher is supposed to be a large, burly, imposing man that looks like he can easily strong arm the toughest mafia goons. Grillo looks like he would be top bidded on man at a dating fundraiser for middle aged women.

He already played a similar version in The Purge Anarchy, when he played that cop seeking revenge for his son. He looks similar to Frank, is familiar with the MCU, clearly has played similar roles, and has familiarity with guns and martial arts draining as Brock Rumlow
