I have no idea if current Power Rangers is any good, but Tommy came back for an anniversary special, and he had a new morpher that let him become any of his previous ranger forms, so that's pretty cool. Also, the current run of MMPR comics are neat, highly recommend

Anyway, I felt like having a little nostalgia trip, so here we go

Which Power Rangers (from any series) do you think could take a majority against the most legendary Ranger himself? Assume Tommy has his master morpher, so he can alternate between all of his Ranger forms. Also assume Tommy is in his prime (if that makes any difference).

Who can beat him?

To get things started, here's some of my thoughts on who could maybe take him:

• Koragg/Leanbow: He's a highly trained and very experienced fighter, arguably moreso than Tommy, and he was a magical powerhouse. That combo of skill and power made him a pretty regular teambuster (and one of my favorite PR villains)


• Doggie Cruger (SPD Shadow Ranger): IIRC there was a training fight where Doggie took on all the SPD Rangers and put them down, which was very impressive. His level of experience could match Tommy very well


• RJ (Jungle Fury Wolf Ranger): He's another martial arts master, maybe one of the best fighters we've seen in Power Rangers (based on training background and such). He had some impressive feats before even getting his morpher, and IIRC he could also take on the 3 Jungle Fury rangers solo


• Zeo Gold Ranger: I believe the Gold Ranger was generally shown to be superior to Tommy as the Zeo Red Ranger, so depending on how you think his Zeo incarnation compares to his other versions, the Gold Ranger could maybe take him (I get the vibe that his Zeo Red Ranger powers aren't as good as his other forms, though)


• Trent (Dino Thunder White Ranger): I'm kinda iffy on this one. On the one hand, Trent (especially when he was evil) was clearly a powerhouse, regularly team-busting the three main rangers, and I think seemed to have more raw power than Tommy. However, I couldn't really find a clear-cut fight between them, which leaves things open for debate, imo


• Sam (SPD Omega Ranger): Guy was pretty OP when he was first introduced, with some crazy versatility from his morpher. However, he also seemed relatively inexperienced, and from watching his fights, he wasn't consistently as OP as when he first appeared, so idk
