I am just trying to get into app development with Xamarin and have two main issues with it. I`m using VS 2017 15.8.9

First of all the properties window doesn't show any entries. I am not sure if they are just not displayed in Xamarin projects, or if there's a problem I don`t know about.

And secondly I can`t get acces my code behind file by double clicking on any events (nor pressing F7 or selecting the View Code in the right click menue)

Has anyone experienced similar issues and know how to fix them?

Kind regads,
