Invalidate cache after SQL query change

0

After playing around with the geoserver web cache I have found out that changing the style for the layer invalidates the tile cache but changing the layer sql definition does not (which leads to the wrong tiles being displayed on the map).

Do we need to manually clear the cache if the sql query was changed?

Tnx
