json-server custom routes for objects not using id

I want to use in memory mock rest calls for angular application. Most of the data will not have id as a identifier for object. So tried custom routes in json-server but getting error. I am using json-server with following data, db.json

"name": "Lisa"
,
"age": 50,
"name": "ManishRane"
]
trying to write custom routes for the above data to perform rest operations like GET,POST,PUT,DELETE. I tried the following routes :
"/author/:name":
"GET": "/author?name=:name",
"POST": "/author/:name",
"PUT": "/author/:name",
"PATCH": "/author/:name",
"DELETE": "/author/:name"
