When unleashing his most powerful attack, Surtur killed himself. Typhon would laugh off that attack, seeing as he was able to do the same against Zeus' master bolts and the Olympians' combined attacks. It is even debatable whether or not Surtur can replicate that blast, as it is possible that Asgard's crystalline core was the cause of the explosion.

Typhon easily overpowered Zeus, a guy who can rip out of the ground, lift, and throw a mountain. A guy who can throw a huge ship halfway around the world. If Surtur even felt Hulk's punches, Typhon would one-shot him with a casual slap. Typhon also beat the moon, and its craters we see today were said to be its wounds from the fight with Typhon...

Typhon murderstomps. He took on 11 of the Olympian god roaster at once and was mildly slowed down at best.

Typhon can definitely edge it out 9/10 imo. The other 1 is when Surtur gets a good swing at Typhon’s head since he doesn’t really have cutting resistance feats, but his raw power is incredible for a guy from the PJverse.

I don't think Surtur can reach Typhon's head. According to Percy, Typhon was big enough to use the Empire State Building as a baseball bat, had blisters the size of buildings, clawed hands the size of city blocks, and feet the size of Yankee Stadium.

I remember something about using the Chrysler building now that you mention it, but no the other stuff. That said, I did originally forget how tall he was. Typhon takes it 10/10.

@bladeoffury: MCU Surtur is actually much much taller than Typhon. According to the VFX team working on Thor Ragnorak. Surtur was 4,000 meters tall when he blow up Ragnorak.

During the sequence Mega Surtur grew. He ranged from roughly 800m when he first appeared to about 4,000m when he finally destroyed Asgard.

For reference, the Empire State Buiding is around 443 meters tall. Surtur would probably use the Chrysler building as a toothpick or a fork.

That being said, I would still give it to Typhon. Only because he has better feats of tanking Zeus' master bolt and matched the strength of mountain-tossing gods for months.

Didnt sutur destroy asgard which is basically a continent the size of a planet in one blow so wouldnt that put him above tyhoon.
