This character is a lot like Sandman: Has one soul particle.
-
His physiology allows him to shapeshift, become intangible, use super strength, teleport, become invisible, fly, and expand the oxygen in human lungs to make them explode.
-
You can use any crazy fictional technology.
-
Possible weakness to take advantage of:
- Once someone separates any amount of oxygen from the basic airspace around the planet (For instance, putting oxygen in a tank), this character can no longer take advantage of it.

1. Air is made up of nitrogen and oxygen, so you could go full chemistry on the character and turn much of his components into solid or liquid compounds of nitrates salts or metal oxides locking the gas component into a crystalline/salt matrix.
2. Or you could try dissolving the gas in water (or whatever better fictional solvent is available) and then freezing the solution down into a solid state. This would not only trap the oxygen and nitrogen but it would even be effective for inert/noble gases.
Both procedures would be an attempt to remove as much kinetic energy from the gaseous character and put him on some kind of a "ground" (much more stable) state.
So luring or sucking the gaseous character into an air-tight room that could either act like a chemistry set beaker (for procedure one) or like a freezer (for procedure two)
Introducing kinetic energy via mechanical separation/agitation and/or heating could give the gaseous character an even greater energy content, and that would be bad.
I mean do you know how typhoon and hurricane are formed? heat and mechanical movement of air.

@jayc1324 Does heating a room cause oxygen particles to separate? I suppose it does for everything else, but would it work with air?

This character is a lot like Sandman: Has one soul particle.
-
His physiology allows him to shapeshift, become intangible, use super strength, teleport, become invisible, fly, and expand the oxygen in human lungs to make them explode.
-
You can use any crazy fictional technology.
-
Possible weakness to take advantage of:
- Once someone separates any amount of oxygen from the basic airspace around the planet (For instance, putting oxygen in a tank), this character can no longer take advantage of it.
