Train scene obviously. Even with Maguires hilariously bad acting in that scene it was simply just executed so much better than the homecoming scene, which was basically Peter holding it together for a few seconds before being saved by Iron Man.

Train scene by far, mostly due to how iconic and inspirational it is. Though, the ferry scene is also great and it showed great heroism and development for Peter.

@pipxeroth: not really bad acting at all, he was fully straining himself and it showed accordingly.
Either way, train scene is miles ahead of ferry scene, mostly because of his independence from iron man, and how the people rallied for him. People cheered more for iron man on the ferry scene, which takes away from peters impact

Spider-Man 2 Train scene by light years.
Spider-Man Homecoming boat scene was completely and absolutely destroyed to smithereenies when RDJ showed up and dipped his greedy little fingers in what could've been a great solo Spider-Man heroic inspirational moment.

Train scene stomps. The boat scene actually left me kind of disappointed, because of how they were portraying it in the trailers.

@zepta_pon: Realistically, Spider-Man was put in a downhill position with the boat scene. There was no logical way he would have been able to save the boat unless the writers rewrote the whole scene.

By it's very nature the train scene is better in every way. We get up close and personal with spider-man, especially because of the fact that he is unmasked at the time, whereas in Homecoming the scene hammers away the idea that spider-man isn't THE spider-man he is meant to be just yet, because he needed daddy iron man to step in. Both scenes, along with the scenes that follow them, are used to tell different ideas, which is fine, but spider-man 2 overall had better cinematography, execution, writing, acting, etc. If I had to pick a scene from homecoming, I'd put the wreckage scene closer to, but not above spider-man 2's train scene.
There's a reason why spider-man 2 is by far the most wholesome and best superhero movies out there.

Train scene by far. That was all his doing while on the boat scene Peter held it for not even like 5 seconds until Tony showed up.
