Both are in character. Kisame has Samehada and is trying to capture Naruto after he mastered KCM (No bijuu mode or sage mode). Naruto can kill Kisame but Kisame must capture Naruto. Fight takes place near a river. Who wins?

@dondave: You really think so? He doesn't have complete control of Kurama here and Kisame has Samehada which might negate a lot of attacks. When Killer Bee fought Kisame he would have lost if Kisame took the fight seriously and wasn't interrupted.

With the increase in Chakra available to Naruto while Samehada may negate some of his attacks but there should still be enough chakra to keep him going. And IIRC Kisame once said that Samehada could get full of chakra and that could allow Naruto the time for a well placed Rasengan or Rasennshuriiken. Not to mention he could disarm Kisame due to his superior speed and strength

That's true but by the time he realizes that he should disarm him (he isn't that bright) Kisame would probably merge with Samehada and summon a giant water bubble.

@the_pain: It's like when Naruto got control of most of the nine tails' chakra. In Bijuu mode its when Naruto has complete control and Kurama (Nine tailed fox) is willingly giving it to him. So clearly Bijuu mode would be a stomp. I think of KCM as in between sage mode and Bijuu mode in firepower, however, Kisame's sword could easily absorb a lot of Naruto's attacks in this form b/c it's a tailed beasts chakra instead of Nature energy, which I doubt he could absorb with samehada, that he uses in sage mode.

There is a limit on what Samehada could absorb. IIRC, 9 tails cloak chakra Naruto (when he was a kid) almost overload Samehada.

Yeah but if he managed to tag Naruto in KCM mode Samehada would absorb as much chakra as it possibly could, which would still be a lot. It wouldn't revert him back to normal, but it might take Naruto some time to re-gather that same amount of chakra or he might not be able to use large scale attacks that he normally would at full or high KCM chakra. Plus with that chakra he absorbed, any attack Naruto managed to hit Kisame with would heal him at Wolverine like speeds and would power him up if he ever ran out of chakra.

IIRC, KMC mode main drawback is if the Bijuu is not friendly with the host and used too much chakra the tailed beast will take over. Naruto over-exhausted himself during the Edo-War but with no ill effect, this is because Kurama is giving him the power he needs freely.

Kurama could overload Samehada while Naruto dispose of Kisame.

@the_pain: That is true... Kurama has a crap ton of chakra I'm sure overloading Samehada would probably do the trick. But Kurama doesn't willfully give Naruto his chakra until Madara Uchiha comes

Naruto was advised not to perform Kage-Bunshin because it will divide his chakra giving more room for Kurama to take-over. He did anyway and suffer no effect, Naruto practically won him over during the trial.

@the_pain: But remember after Naruto fights Nagato and Itachi? His cloak wears off afterwards from using too much chakra... same when he fights the 3rd raikage. That wouldn't have happened if the fox was willfully giving him all of his chakra. He might have not taken advantage and taken over, but if he was freely giving him his chakra there wouldn't have been times when he runs out and lost the cloak form don't you think?

kisame by hype given how he said he'll never tire or fall at least when hes got samehada. also by feats he has the whole thing where samehada is inside his body and he absorbs chakra just from skin touch. so rasengan and FRS are useless. kisame will get stronger with each passing second as naruto gets weaker. plus giant shark missile will beat FRS

Naruto. Kisame is a tough opponent, but I don't see him taking Naruto on, considering he's faster, stronger, and has more chakra than Samehada can consume
