Wasn’t that Amazo kind of god? I just remember it beating literally everything. Haven’t seen Infinity War though, you might want to put spoilers or something.

Amazo as of now. Maybe Thanos will get even more wtf in Avengers 4, but right now, Amazo is his superior.

Even though the movie comes out this Friday, it's obvious that Amazo one-shots at FTL speeds. No one in MCU is a city buster, while DCAU characters can get up to planetbusting tier.

Amazo has copied non meta human DNA before(MM, Superman, Nth metal ,GL ring etc etc) and he's already teleported light years away instantly before.

A GL ring is a completely different ball game compared to a cosmic device. Also one considers the object of his copying abilities- the gauntlet, or the gems within it? How exactly that would work is unknown to me right now.

@stalin-is-steel: it wasn't too great. Amazos cosmic power is based off of chaos so grundy was feeding off of it. He retreated for fear it would make grundy unstoppable. The only thing that could stop grundy was the mace as it disrupts chaos magic so nice try dude. Dont lowball

He ran away from a threat that was getting stronger in his presence. He did it to prevent Grundy from absorbing any more of his cosmic blasts and repelling it. How is that relevant here?

Since this is being discussed again I found the clip. Amazo willingly chose to retreat as a way to save the others since he felt he was putting everyone else at risk, not so much because he was afraid of Grundy. It was PIS way to get Hawkgirl to kill him with her magic mace instead of anyone else in the JL. Grundy was feeding off his power somehow. Also, just realized something. This was PIS because all Amazo had to do literally was BFR Grundy to the Sun(as HG even says) once Fate confirmed that the old Grundy was indeed gone, that would have been logical but plot devices and PIS were to have HG the hero so they wrote her "mace" being the only thing that could put Grundy down, while making her redeem herself.
