Yeah, he's not winning this one. Post Crisis would be much closer through

N52 croc. He beat Bane and Katana, who are skilled MA's as well. Not to mention he tanked through concrete walls and survived a building falling on top of him. Keep in mind this is before mutation.

Rebirth Killer Croc would like to have a word with Matt.

Croc ambushed a jobbing Bane in an environment that largely favoured Croc and the fact that Bane was taken down with a few (on-panel) bites and scratches is laughable. But whats more is that Bane was extremely close to breaking Croc until he was bitten on the wrist which allowed PIS to kick in making Bane react to a (relatively) superficial wound.

Lets not even take into account the previous four times that they encountered each other with Bane winning all of them and even curbstomping Croc during Bane's stint as Batman.

Crock couldn't beat Catwoman IIRC, and Daredevil is a better all around version of her.

Rebirth Croc has traded blows with Aquaman and has taken several hits from a weakened General Zod, who's still much more powerful than anyone Matt has beaten. I don't see Matt beating this version of Croc at all.

@the_badman: How consistent is him going to to toe with Aquaman? I mean, I can show you Daredevil do that against Namor, twice. Of course, both instances are definitely not in line with his usual feats.

He's nothing like his PC self and rarely fights street levelers. Did DD actually stalemate Namor, tank his punches and hurt him, or did he just dance around him?

Oh. But seriously, does Marvel use Namor to make its street levelers look cool? First Black Panther and now this?

@king-ragnar: Even excluding those feats still leaves Croc as a mid-tier.

From the top of my head:

• Parkoured around a building-sized mutated Gorilla and one-shotted it by clocking it in the chin.


• Healed a large hole in the middle of his abdomen (as well as other relatively smaller ones) in a few seconds after taking an energy attack.


• Curbstomped a giant mutated eagle with a few hits.


• Has a brief altercation with Aquaman where he took a serious hit only to walk it off (literally, he technically takes the L though)

Overall this Croc is a beast in every sense of the word his strength, durability and savagery take a huge bump up and his previous shortcomings such as intelligience skyrockets from his previous iterations.

Yeah, Marvel never treats him with respect. Add Cap to the list too.

@apocofist: Strength and Durability are like the two most useless stats you could have against Daredevil. He's previously dropped Hammerhead, who's taken full on beatings from a pissed off Luke Cage and from a Morals off Miles Morales. He's also dropped Mr Hyde, who's had encounters with Thor.

There's no way daredevil is beating rebirth croc,he is solid mid tier.

New 52 though not so good has only few feats against katana aND new 52 bane but still has strength to throw cars with one hand or breaking through walls plus he has good regeneration and complete bulletproof durability aND surviving 1000 feet falls.

Rebirth Croc is an inconsistent joke and has only seen the light of day due to bad publication choices and the idiocy of your average writer. Daredevil kicks his ass.
