Yeah, Penance Stare would be an instant kill with all the people Sin has had killed.

How would he actually catch him with that? Sinbad never fights anyone, he goes straight for the win, so I don't see him getting hit with that before the rider is reduced to a pile of smoldering ash.

@valorknight: I don't know anything about this Sinbad guy so I'm not commenting on who would win, but I just want to point out that Ghost Rider can use his penance stare in an AOE, like he did in Uncanny Avengers Annual #1 where he affected seemingly an entire city at once.

@valorknight: how is King reducing GR to a pile of Ash? Plus how do you go for the win but not fight?

I'm aware, but this character is essentially always morals off and goes straight for the kill with attacks like this:

1. Bararaq Saiqa is his go-to lightning spell, and it would undebatably annihilate Ghost Rider.


2. He doesn't engage in a proper fight like most characters, he just kills you to save energy.

This isn't really a fair fight either way, even if he did waste time.

Good for him. If any of the blows he tanked were mult-mountain level or consistent for his character, you might have a point. If for some odd reason disintegrating him over and over doesn't work, he would either be molecularly frozen or ordered to kill himself (this might not work on him, but it's worth a shot).

Zarathos is a consistent high tier, and just ignoring feats like ignoring a blow from Mjilonir shows a bit of bias

Sure, but if you're implying that he can consistently tank the damage that Thor puts out while Blaze is in control when I'm fairly sure he's been hurt by far less, you're far more biased than I am.

Strange's magic couldn't put down GR. I'm not sure Sinbad's magic can. Full powered GR stomped the Avengers recently, stomped the Avengers and xmen back in the day. He even one shotted Lucifer and the only person who can kill a Ghost Rider is god, nigh omnipotent being like Zadkiel couldn't kill him.

Pip already posted it, but GR's Peance Stare has encompassed the entirety of Mojo World, and in Ghost Racers it effected an entire stadium of people

Johnny isn't a factor here, he get's one shot by the likes of Hulk, but as soon as he goes down Zarathos takes over, and Zarathos has constantly shown he's above characters like Hulk and Thor.
