In the Official handbook of the marvel universe volume 1 issue 3 from the February 1991Cable has a right techno-organic eye with scars across this eye, with a yellow telepathic glow from his left eye. Now everyone says his left eye is the techno-organic one, I think this is because nobody could understand why his left eye always glows. The reason his left eye always glow is because he must continually employ his telekinetic powers to prevent the techno-organic virus from affecting the rest of his body. Nobody asks why jean Grey has a glow from her hand and head. Check out the picture I have posted
