How to upload files to google cloud compute engine in java
I have vsftpd service running on a compute engine and I am trying to upload some file to the ubuntu server using org.apache.commons.net.ftp.FTPClient.
FTPClient ftpClient = new FTPClient();
ftpClient.connect("xx.xx.xx.xx", 211);
ftpClient.login("xxxx", "xxxx");
FileInputStream inputStream = new FileInputStream(new File("/xxx/xxx/test.png"));
System.out.println(inputStream.toString());
ftpClient.changeWorkingDirectory("/home/xxx/ftp/www/images");
ftpClient.setFileType(FTP.BINARY_FILE_TYPE);
ftpClient.storeFile("test.png", inputStream);
inputStream.close();
ftpClient.logout();
The code runs fine with no issue but I cannot find the file on the server . The folder /home/xxx/ftp/www/images has 777 permission and I am able to upload files using filezilla.
