Is anyone else really enjoying this show? I feel like it's not getting the amount of love that it deserves.

And no, I still haven't read all of the comic run. Blasphemy, I know. But still, regardless of any significant creative changes, I think it's a very well made show.

I feel like the show has a lot of highs and lows.

Season 1: High. It was great.

First half of season 2: High. Again, great.

Second half of season 2: Low. This half of the season sort of dragged with unnecessary subplots like Dennis. However, I did love Eugene and Hitler's subplot, which seems to be an unpopular opinion.

Season 3 so far: Middle ground. It hasn't been a low, but it's definitely not a high. Angelville has dragged on too long, and the Eugene/Hitler/Saint of Killers subplot seems to be going nowhere. However, the Allfather is a great addition to the show.

I tried...really tried to like this series, but it´s just pretty crappy version of the orginal comics run (one that I try to read once a year). I mean there is nothing wrong with making changes and stuff, obviously comics dont translate straight to films or TV, but it is just missing something. And I am a bit worried about the upcoming The Boys -series...at least it is bit more straightforward story compared to Preacher, but still...

I have no idea how true her character is to the source material, but I like her. I like that she can hold her own but she's still an incredibly flawed character - makes her way more interesting. Her personality is entertaining, too. She was pretty great in the latest episode. "I didn't flunk out of tenth grade. I dropped out!" Thought it was funny that she said that like she was proud of it.

IT'S SH*T.

No, I kid. It's weird, the first season is like a prequel to the comic series, but introduces all of the characters you would've met if you followed the source material. I gave up after season 1 because it was exhausting and felt like just a huge set up, but I heard S2 kind of starts where the comic starts.

I just hope these jabronis don't f*ck up Invincible.

It's weird there's going to be an animated Invincible show and a live-action movie. But hey, I guess that's a good thing for fans because if they don't like one, maybe the other will win 'em over?

@k4tzm4n:Super weird that they're doing both without knowing how this series is going to received in non-comic formats. But I guess if one flops they always have a second chance with the other.

No, I kid. It's weird, the first season is like a prequel to the comic series, but introduces all of the characters you would've met if you followed the source material. I gave up after season 1 because it was exhausting and felt like just a huge set up, but I heard S2 kind of starts where the comic starts.

@k4tzm4n: Love it, read all the comics and while the show does differ a lot in some aspects its a great fun gory ride, and can't wait to see what they do and how some of the other comic plots weave into the show

No idea. Maybe @texasdeathmatch would know.

IT'S SH*T.

I heard it isn't really loved by the fans of the source material. Is that true?

@k4tzm4n:Super weird that they're doing both without knowing how this series is going to received in non-comic formats. But I guess if one flops they always have a second chance with the other.
