The title says it all. No rules, just straight up fight. Both are S class. Both can cut an enemy to pieces in a split of a second. Both are masters with a blade and a well trained samurai/ninja. Who wins?

Atomic Samurai has calcs that put him much faster and in-universe he should win.

Atomic Samurai wins easily. Flash has very little feats but there is a reason why he is lower in ranks then Atomic. He is fast but not that powerful. Atomic Samurai doesn't have movement speed of FF but he has far better feats when it comes to power, combat speed and reaction. That's really all there is to it.

Anyone who says Samurai should win hasn't touched the webcomic. AS got defeated by base Black Sperm but Flash kept up with Monster Garou who literally ripped Fused Sperm in half and oneshotted Golden Sperm. And Flash didn't even have his sword...

@god_vulcan: are you saying Flash could defeat Black Sperm? He was also beat easily by Garou. Reverse the matchups and you get the same results. How does that prove anything?

@thoromdil: Of course Flash would beat Black Sperm. He was matching Garou while handicapped due to fighting barehanded when he normally works with a sword. Monster Garou oneshotted Golden Sperm, who was the "Ultimate Sperm", and shredded apart Fused Sperm who already beat Atomic Samurai in a weaker form.

If they switched positions, AS would get blitzed and oneshotted by Garou while Flash would blitz and one shot Black Sperm. Flash stomps here because he was fighting on par with someone several times more powerful than a character Atomic Samurai already lost to. Flash has been canonically established to be superior to Samurai in combat so it makes no sense why or how anyone can argue for AS winning.

Flash CAN NOT beat Black Sperm in any form. Atomic Samurai couldn't beat it because physical attacks such as sword cuts only split BS into more cells and later he simply reconstructs. Flashy Flash would've had the same results if he tried to attack BS. To the contrary, he would've lost easier. Atomic Samurai cuts both harder - because of his nuclear powered strikes - and faster - as he has superior cutting speed, while FF has superior travel speed. WHICH IS A HUGE DIFFERENCE. Amai Mask even said that even all S calss heroes together would've had a hard time beating BS completely and you claim FF can just cut him real fast with his katana? Get out dude.

Also, Flashy Flash did not "do well" or fight "on par" versus Garou. He was completely overwhelmed, he lost easily in a one sided fight. Even when he was fighting Garou together with Superalloy Darkshine he lost in a matter of moments. I can't see a reason why Atomic Samurai wouldn't have better chances then him, considering his superior cutting speed and better skill.

Credibility officially destroyed. Black Sperm is resistant to cutting attacks since he splits his body every time he's separated, yes, but apparently you haven't considered he has NO counter for blunt force and can't split once he's fused. Unlike Samurai who has no form of combat besides his sword (meaning no way to beat sperm) Flash was capable of going toe-to-toe with Garou in h2h (albeit briefly), who literally oneshotted Golden Sperm. Not only that, Tatsumaki was able to twist the smash off the head of a Sperm and he DIDN'T split. So the notion that's he's immune to being separated is completely false. And guess what else? Golden Sperm blitzed and stomped that Tatsumaki, who already killed a Sperm AS lost to, and Garou oneshotted GS yet Flash was able to give him a run for his money. But the most embarrassing part of your argument is that Garou actually fought Atomic Samurai, their encounter didn't last longer than a single page because he blitzed him, broke his sword and oneshotted him all within a single panel. However, when Garou encountered Flash, their encounter lasted a lot longer with Garou himself having to adjust to Flash's speed.

This is a lie, due to not telling the whole truth. Do you realize that Garou has a broken adaptation ability that allows him to get stronger as fights progress? He had to adapt to Flash's speed, just like he adapted to Metal Bat and Tank Top Master and grew stronger as they fought. Wouldn't you agree that he gave TTM and MB a good fight? Garou adapted to Flash,s speed which is why he only managed to block light speed fast but later kept track of his afterimages and blitzed him right when Saitama showed up towards the end of the battle.

@khael: I know ABC logic doesn't apply in all situations, but this one where it's painfully clear and impossible to refute. The nail in the coffin in Thorodmil's argument is the fact that both Flash and AS fought Garou, and one of them got blitzed and oneshotted while the other gave him a good fight... So scaling has become worthless now?

Here is Flash's sword being broken by Saitama prior to Garou and Flash's fight, which does show he was handicapped because he primarily fights with his sword(he actually only hasn't done so in his fight with Garou).

This is their continued fight after Garou beats on Darkshine and Puri Puri Prisoner. It doesn't last long but you can see Flash is fast enough to dodge some of garou's attacks so yeah.

Garou actually fought Atomic Samurai, their encounter didn't last longer than a single page because he blitzed him, broke his sword and oneshotted him all within a single panel.
