Georges Batroc is a French-Algerian mercenary, pirate, and martial artist. He is a master of Savate, a traditional French martial art, as well as Kickboxing, using his skills to become one of the world's most wanted men.

Reaction Speed:

Dodges Cap's shield after it is thrown, whilst having his head turn. Also, the Shield was thrown hard enough to dent metal.

Agility:

This is Batroc's specialty, his agility is implemented into his combat so he can hold up to the name of "Batroc the Leaper".

Flips over Captain America.

Does a Kip-Up after being knocked down.

Flips back into a standing position after Cap attempted to throw him.

Can perform Roundhouse Kicks, although this one was dodged and countered by Captain America.

Attempts an Acrobatic Kick on Captain America, although it was dodged.

Strength / Striking Power:

Kicks down what seems to be a locked door.

Kicks Captain America off balance.

Repeatedly Kicks Down Captain America even with his Shield up.

Kicks Captain America and sends him down onto his knee, also kicks him a considerable distance as you can see from the first part of the gif.

Durability:

Gets back up from an acrobatic Kick from Captain America.

Tanks 3 Poweful Knees from Captain America.

Is only slightly wobbled after an Elbow / Forearm attack from Captain America.

Stays standing after a Kick to the leg and a push kick. A kick like this would usually make someone unable to stand, yet he recovers in under ten seconds and stays standing until kicked down later.

Skill:

Sends Captain America back and forces him to fight defensively.

Nice thread though I feel like it's worth noting that Cap always fights defensively so making him do so isn't really impressive. Nice thread all the same.

Also, fair point, he does most of the time. But when he was fighting Iron Man, he was fighting offensively.

He defended against Batroc, Rumlow [Twice], Bucky [Three Times] ect.

@subline: He also has a greande which he threw at Widow and Steve. Also he woke up in less than a minute after being knocked out and was able to sprint.

I'll try to find that quote/accolade, regarding Batroc's skill and post it here. It was a writer statement IIRC.

And there's also that he's packed with grenades, pretty powerful ones.

One feat that I think should be noted for his durability is that he withstood a shield bash from Cap that launched him about 10 feet. This is really quite impressive when you consider both the force of this attack and the fact that he is being hit by an incredibly hard and brittle material like Vibranium.

Batroc also has a nice set of statements from Rumlow.

"Georges Batroc. Ex-DGSE, Action Division. He's at the top of Interpol's Red Notice. Before the French demobilized him, he had 36 kill missions. This guy's got a rep for maximum casualties."

Being at the top of Interpol's Red Notice means he was basically the most wanted person in the world at the time.

Batroc also has a bomb as standard gear.

Cap loses to CW Oliver, so giving him a good fight is not impressive. Batroc sucks.
