After the Fantastic Four stopped the Skrulls' attempted invasion of Earth, Skrull Emperor Dorrek invested vast resources into creating a superbeing of his own. K'lrt, a decorated soldier and warrior of the Skrull empire, was chosen to undergo a process that endowed him with all the powers of the Fantastic Four, except, when powered by an interstellar beam, far stronger. Later he removed the need for the beam.

Contrary to what you may believe, I doubt that Superman can easily tank punches from Kl'Rt without him leaving a mark. First to get a possible lowball out of the way, Kl'Rt is canonically way more powerful than each FF member

Now you may be wondering why it says Thing can only lift 5 tons and that's because over time Thing has gotten far, far stronger and luckily so has Super-Skrull. Skrull has hurt people just as durable or more durable as Injustice Superman in the past so he can easily bring the pain.

• Scan 1-2: Kl'Rt punches Mrs Marvel so hard she is sent flying, can't divulge from her path, and thinks she's going to die as soon as she hits something. Basically, he one-shotted her(Marvel Team Up 61)


• Scan 3: Kl'Rt lays a smackdown on an amped Thor and manages to hurt him. Thor is definitely more durable than Injustice Superman(Thor 465)

Durability wise Amped Thor > Superman > Injustice Superman, therefore Kl'Rt can hurt Injustice Supes without much difficulty

This category is the reason Kl'Rt wins, Skrull's powers basically hard counter anything that Superman can send his way. To get to Skrull himself though, first you have to get through his force fields.

1. His shields tank a blast from Genis-vell so it can tank heat vision(Captain Marvel vol 4 10)


2. His shields take repeated blows from Thor who hits harder than Injustice Superman(Thor 142)

So now that we've established that Superman will have trouble just breaking through Skrull's shields, let's look at why he basically can't damage base skrull at all.

• Scan 1: Super-Skrull just stretches when Grey Hulk hits him(Incredible Hulk 375)


• Scan 2: To prove this is consistent, here Skrull literally no-sells a blow from a pissed off, amped Thor by stretching around it(Thor 465)


• Scan 3-4: Even when he doesn't Stretch, Skrull is able to tank a mjolnir throw from an amped Thor(Thor 465)

So yeah, Superman basically can't put Kl'Rt down with blunt-force, it just won't work. That just leaves his heat vision and freeze breath, which I'll address later.

KoL asked me to remove Speed Equalized so here we are arguing my favorite stat Speed. Yay.

Super-Skrull is actually surprisingly fast and it was his "schtick" in classic marvel was that he was faster than Reed Richards.

1. Super-Skrull stretches across an army base in a millisecond(Captain Marvel 2)


2. Super-Skrull legit flies circles around the human torch, who is decently fast(Fantastic Four 18)


3. Super-Skrull leaves after images and reacts to the Speedster, Speed(New Avenger 10)

So I fully believe Super-Skrull can keep up in combat, and even if he lags a little behind, he can still win using his advantages in other categories.

Here we have Skrull's fire manip, which will prove the key to countering Supes's other abilities. First to show what he can do defensively.

Yeah, basically Kl'Rt can absorb heat, so all heat vision will do is power him up and help him. So thanks. As for uses offensively, there are a ton

1. The force of a blast easily one-shots the peak of a small mountain(Fantastic Four 18)


2. Constructs a fire chain that wraps around torch, shows he can make constructs(Fantastic Four 18)


3. Matches and overpowers Torch's nova which shows he can make sun level temperatures and resist them. This also shows that he can easily melt away freeze breath(Marvel Team up 61)


4. Blinds Kitty(X-men first class 20)

So Kl'Rt can blind Superman, hit him with powerful blasts, and hit him with nova level heats. And he can do all this, while just punching him, really hard.

I already covered defensive shields, but Kl'Rt can use shields and invisibility offensively as well.

1. Uses invisibility to ambush Captain Mar-vell(Captain Marvel 2)


2. Uses a forcefield to cut off air to spider-man(Marvel team up 61)


3. Puts a forcefield in the brain of another Super-Skrull, this isn't his go to move, but he will do this if necessary(Nova vol 3 16)

Kl'Rt also has another "special" ability that doesn't belong to the rest of the Fantastic Four. That is his hypnosis.

Here Skrull hypnotizes all of the Fantastic Four(minus Invisible Girl) mid-fight so they don't fight him.

Finally I want to address how Skrull uses his powers together to be far more formidable than any of the FF alone. Let me give you a few examples

1. Uses his fire through his shield, which means he can sit behind it and blast Superman(Captain Marvel vol 4 10)


2. Uses a stretched out Thing punch to hurt Surfer(Silver Surfer vol 3 annual 1)


3. Wraps up Thor multiple times and burns him, a viable option to put Superman down considering Thor has been fine inside the sun(Thor 465)
