I'm in the process of writing a detailed respect thread for IF.


The level of detail back in the day was incredible I love it.

Yeah I do think that they were better, though that particular scene with Iron Fist might be overdoing it a bit much.

I think modern art and comic book h2h fights can portray a better sense of fluidity and realism, and are definitely more flashy and vibrant than classic CB fights.


As far as detail, I think they're roughly the same, you can find some really good fights on both sides.

No. At least not for me. I like the specific details and cool effects artists are able to put in in modern comics

Yeah in some comics it seemed that way. I personally think it depends on the creative team. Whether they are passionate about the fight determines how much detail/fluidity they put in it, I reckon. It affects old and new comics alike. Artists like Andrea Sorrentino draws awesome fights in Old Man Logan. I think it just depends on the artists.
