Can we assume for the purpose of this battle that she is NEWLY trained by Malcolm (mid Season 3 timeline)? Based on your comment, she becomes rather deadly as the season progresses.

Diggle has always been a top tier fighter in Arrow and I will never stop defending that.

He's Ollie's official sparring partner, in every physical confrontation the two have had (which is many) John has never been more than a step behind Oliver. Even in a three-way sparring match against both Oliver and Sara with the three of them using bo-staffs, despite being the only person there not trained in bojutsu, Diggle was the only one able to land a hit on Sara. If they were in a serious fight, Diggle would undoubtedly take the advantage on her, something he himself was confident about when the two nearly came to blows. Even when Ollie became Al-Sah-him, once again, Diggle was the ONLY member of Team Arrow able to go toe-to-toe with him. He did better than Nyssa, he even did better than Malcolm. That's saying something. And anybody who goes toe-to-toe with China White evenly, is leaps and bounds superior to the Nolanverse.

Diggle was right there with Malcolm and Black Canary, raiding Nanda Parbet and killing off ninjas by the handful. Even one League ninja is a master of martial arts and too much for the less experienced fighters like Thea and Roy to take on. Diggle's own wife, Lyla, a high ranking agent of ARGUS, had a hard enough time just defending herself versus one lone ninja. For Diggle to be one of the fighters storming the League's HQ and killing off a whole horde of them singlehandedly, he has to be... phenomenal. And he is. Just last week he oneshotted Anarky like absolute canon fodder, IN THE SAME EPISODE where Anarky curbstomped non-bloodlust Thea. Not to mention Diggle knocked out the second Brother Blood who was an elite soldier (and whose name escapes me) quite easily, even though he had a gun against him. The second Brother Blood was so skilled, that when facing Green Arrow with the situation REVERSED, as in Green Arrow was holding a gun to HIS head and totally bloodlusted on top of that, he just ducked underneath the bullet at point blank range and challenged Green Arrow while completely unarmed. He lost, but gave Ollie tremendous difficulty. He even came back afterwards while still injured and solod Arsenal and Huntress. Yet Diggle was the one to defeat him easily.

And before I forget, I might as well clarify there's a big difference between bloodlusted Thea and non-bloodlusted Thea. Bloodlusted Thea > Diggle > Anarky > League fodder > non-bloodlusted Thea. And that's saying a lot since even non-bloodlusted Thea beat Andy Diggle.

To summarize, Diggle obviously solos with gear in about three seconds, and solos in H2H with only a bit more trouble.

@spector_rand: False. He held his own with one ninja seemingly after hitting him with an arrow, in the same scene where Oliver fought Maseo, then later when fighting Chase the DJ on even ground, was unable to win.

The first Ninja is dropped hard, then two different Ninja's come and fight him. He then drops one.

@nickzambuto: Which episode was that when arrow and diggle are training with knives? It's either one or two episodes after vendetta and happens 10 minutes in. I was impressed with diggle then. It's hilarious how much he's low balled when he was olivers ONLY training partner in season 1 and was almost as good as he was with that stick stuff by the end of the season.

Thea solos. Personally I see her as arguably the best fighter on the show.
