ElasticBeanstalk gives nifty method of storing .env vars so you don't need to upload (and publicize) your .env file.
Node version: 8.12.0
Node.js running on 64bit Amazon Linux/4.6.0
I'm getting connection errors trying to make knex migrations run and think it's because my env variables aren't sourced:
Error: connect ECONNREFUSED 127.0.0.1:5433
at TCPConnectWrap.afterConnect [as oncomplete] (net.js:1191:14)
I tested this by hardcoding one of the problematic variables, process.env.PG_HOST, with the production value, and the error changed.
For PHP EC2 servers, envs had to be sourced at /opt/elasticbeanstalk/support/envvars to work. Where do I source env variables on Node instance?
