Authenticate Firestore from server on shared host ASP.NET

Locally I can connect to Firestore by using GOOGLE_APPLICATION_CREDENTIALS environment variable, but my shared host obviously won't allow me to put env vars on their server. Isn't ther any other way to authenticate from a shared host? With RealTime DB you just need to supply Basepath and DB Secret in order to connect, but with Firestore...
