How to dynamically update labels in chart.js using data an array of time_stamp values

0

I am trying to display some data over time. The data is fetched from db periodically including time_stamp and battery level. What I want is to display time_stamp as labels on x-axix and the corresponding battery_level plotted against each time_stamp value on y-axis.

Current time can't be used as time_stamp is not synchronized with current time.

Here is current display of chart:
enter image description here

I tried but not able to use time_stamp array as labels and dynamically updating. How can I do this?

Here is my code:

 var ctx = document.getElementById('myChart').getContext('2d');
var myChart = new Chart(ctx,
type: 'line',
data:
labels: [date_time_Array], //array of time stamp
datasets: [

label: 'Battery_Voltage',
data: battArray,
backgroundColor: "rgba(255,153,0,0.4)"
]
,

options:
scales:
yAxes: [
ticks:
beginAtZero:true

]

);
