Bane and Zannah as of Dynasty of Evil against pre-KoTOR Darth Revan and Star Forge amped Darth Malak.

Standard gear, all abilities allowed, all are fighting all out, and the fight is to the death. Battle takes place on Manaan and they start 15 yards apart.

Who wins and why?

Team 2, 'cause at that point, they were already strong enough to slaughter armies of Rakata and Echani, and Revan had already murderstomped a woeful Mandalore the Ultimate (on top of having been the greatest Jedi of his era–and having had a greater "command of the Force" than anyone the Jedi Exile had ever met prior to Vitiate and maybe Nyriss).

Malak and Revan.

There's no way this hasn't been done before.

This has been done before, though the only difference here is that Malak is Star Forge amped rather than during his time with Revan.

With his Star Forge amp, it tips the favours enough for me to lean in team two's favour with a bit of confidence, seeing as Malak is likely superior to Darth Revan (pre-kotor) at this point, meaning both could at least fight with near parity with Bane and Zannah is getting killed fairly fast unless she manages to get her spells off.

At this point, Bane knew all the secrets contained within Revan's holocron, as well as a few other Sith holocron's thought to be long forgotten. Revan would be surprised at how many of his secrets Bane actually knew. This is not Revan at his prime, but it is Bane at his prime, and Zannah has some very unorthodox powers that are ridiculously hard to counter.

I'm giving it to Bane and Zannah, 7/10.

I'm going to go with Team 1, 6/10. At this point Bane is frighteningly powerful, and Zannah is not far behind. Revan and Malak are also the greatest of their age, so this would be a close fight, but I believe that Team 1 could pull it off for the majority.

But now this is Bane & Zannah (DoE) vs Darth Revan (Pre-Kotor) and Malak (Star Forge amp) and somehow the tides are turned even more in Bane's favour?

I know I'm nitpicking, maybe you changed your mind on them as combatants or maybe you didn't see the star forge amp, but it seemed a little odd to me.

@emperor339: Not a huge difference in 6/10 and 7/10. Some debaters have presented evidence that this incarnation of Revan is vastly weaker than his prime self, and further research has provided an insight into Bane's powers. For his powers to be regarded by Tenebrous and Plagueis as "legendary", well, that's a pretty high mark for Bane, assuming that Banite scaling is MOSTLY linear.

@emperor339: i disagree, with amp malak is still<kotor revan who imo is <bane, I could see bane soling this. Zannah makes this a mismatch though i doubt her illusions would take out either combatant
