Hi I am using spyder in anaconda to connect to a mysql db.
I want to export the result of my SQL query to an excel file.
however I keep getting the following error:
1064, "You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near 'NPH_01.csv' at line 1"
I have tried versions of this code using terminated by and etc but keep getting the same error.
Please let me know what am I missing here:
Below is my code:
def doQuery (Conn):
cur = Conn.cursor()
cur.execute ("select a, b, c, d, e, f, g from table1 group by 1,2,3,4,5,6,7 into outfile NPH_01.csv")
import MySQLdb
myconnection= MySQLdb.connect(host = '****', user = '****', passwd = '****', db = '****')
doQuery (myconnection)
myconnection.close()
