It isn't a strength feat, you'd have to calculate how much Mjolnir weighs and how much force it takes to crush the material it is made out of. Hela is worthy to wield Mjolnir, so in her hands Mjolnir wouldn't weigh much as shown.

@jashugan: She is worthy based on what? The fact that ahe used to do it long before the first Thor movie where Odin placed the enchantment that only the worthy can wield it on it? She is the absokutely last person worthy of it, since Odin basically placed the enchantment on it to prevent Thor from turning out the same way as Hela.

@jashugan: Odin placed the worthy enchantment on Mjolnir in Thor one, after Hela used it, weight also doesn't have to do with crushing something, Mjolnir doesn't weigh much but still survived the sokovia explosion

@leonardsnart: weight certainly matters in crushing something, you'd be a fool to believe otherwise. A planet made purely of uru would be an order of magnitude more difficult to crush than mjolnir.
Doesn't matter what explosion mjolnir survived. Iron man & thor both survived sokovia, Hela couldn't crush either with one hand.

@jashugan: Mjonirs weight has nothing to do with it's durability, it was light enough to hang on a coat hanger in Thor 2 but durable enough to survive every time Thor hit something with it like when he hit Malekith hard enough to create tile and window breaking shockwaves that radiated 20 feet, nothing that weighs so light could survive such impacts, it's durability is clearly not linked to its weight if you look at its durability feats
Surviving the explosion shows it's durability, Ironman wasn't caught in the explosion, Thor was, Hela didn't try crushing Thor with her hands so we don't know if she can or can't, what we know is that Hela>>Thor
What's your point with all of this anyway?

@leonardsnart: you are now arguing about something I never claimed (weight vs durability of mjolnir) and are also talking about irrelevant shit (mjolnir creating shockwaves). Hela grabbed thor as they were in the bifrost and he wasn't crushed, she grabbed thor later on, wasn't crushed either. She couldn't crush any fodder Asgardian either
You should read my original post since that was my point before you started replying with dumb irrelevant stuff.

@jashugan: you said to you'd have to calculate the weight of Mjolnir to figure out the question in the thread, I've been pointing out why weight is irrelevant here because it has nothing to do with durability
She actually did crush the skull of a fodder asgardian when fighting the asgardian army, her not crushing people is not a reason to believe she can't, she just wasn't trying
Could you try replying without such animosity like I kicked your dog or banged your girlfriend please?

@leonardsnart: weight is not irrelevant in crushing something because crushing something isn't just about durability. Mjolnir is a hunk of metal after all.
What fodder Asgardian did she crush and why couldn't she crush thor? Hela was portrayed as superior to thor but not to the point that he couldn't fight her.

@jashugan: I've just pointed out to why crushing Mjolnir has nothing to do with it's weight
Watch the fight with Hela vs Asgardian army again, I first thought it was a neck snap but it was a head crush
I never said I wanted to bang your gf, calm down, this is what I meant, you seem so angry and wound up like someone banged your gf or kicked your puppy, this is nothing but a friendly discussion about movies based on picture books, no need for such animosity

@leonardsnart: you didn't, you pointed out some durability feats that led to nowhere. Mjolnir is a magical object anyway, but my post is based in if mjolnir being destroyed was purely strength. You just chose one part of that post to make multiple stupid posts in reply
Or you can post proof for your claims here
You think that post is angry? You must be soft and sensitive in real life.

@jashugan: I pointed out durability feats that show it's durability is not linked with it's weight, a hammer light enough to hang on a clothes hanger has no business tanking the stuff mjonir has if it's weight was relevant to its durability
Someone who can post gifs, I can't or you can rewatch that fight scene
You go around calling people dumb and stupid when all they're doing is having a debate with you, you come off as really hostile, even after I asked you not to be, this stuff shouldn't be taken that seriously, this isht ain't real bro, take a step back

Because said hammer is magical mumbo jumbo that was destroyed by magical mumbo jumbo.

@jashugan: so you saying a magical hammers weight has something to do with it's durability when you have nothing to base this on? Which other magical hammer are you using as evidence for your statements? Whichever way you look at it your claims of weight having something to do with durability are unfounded
Or you can go on YouTube and watch that fight again

Saying stuff like Hela was worthy of Mjolnir or NOT being able to differentiate wielding the hammer from being worthy of it, its like some of you guys never watched any Thor movie.
Hela (daughter of Odin and at her time heir to the throne of Asgard) wielded Mjolnir (no wielding enchantment yet)
Thor (son of Odin and heir to the throne of Asgard) wielded Mjolnir (no wielding enchantment yet)
Odin, to teach humility to Thor (and like @stahlflamme: said, to prevent Thor from becoming like Hela) put an enchantment on the hammer.
Thor was worthy of Mjolnir by Odin's enchantment.
Hela is not worthy of Mjolnir, besides the part that she doesn't fit into the parameters that were set in 2011 Thor's narrative, if she was worthy of the hammer she could use it to attack Thor back, and going to the Ragnarok narrative, Hela was trying to revive his old battle army and weaponry, if she could she would obviously would want to have Mjolnir back.

There are threads that relate closely enough to this so as to make it unnecessary.
Not sure where people keep getting that Hela was worthy from.

@jashugan: I pointed out durability feats that show it's durability is not linked with it's weight, a hammer light enough to hang on a clothes hanger has no business tanking the stuff mjonir has if it's weight was relevant to its durability
Someone who can post gifs, I can't or you can rewatch that fight scene

You couldn't bang my girlfriend if you tried and I don't keep animals around me. No need to fantasize or continuously get off topic.

You couldn't bang my girlfriend if you tried and I don't keep animals around me. No need to fantasize or continuously get off topic.

You couldn't bang my girlfriend if you tried and I don't keep animals around me. No need to fantasize or continuously get off topic.

@jashugan: I pointed out durability feats that show it's durability is not linked with it's weight, a hammer light enough to hang on a clothes hanger has no business tanking the stuff mjonir has if it's weight was relevant to its durability
Someone who can post gifs, I can't or you can rewatch that fight scene
You go around calling people dumb and stupid when all they're doing is having a debate with you, you come off as really hostile, even after I asked you not to be, this stuff shouldn't be taken that seriously, this isht ain't real bro, take a step back

It isn't a strength feat, you'd have to calculate how much Mjolnir weighs and how much force it takes to crush the material it is made out of. Hela is worthy to wield Mjolnir, so in her hands Mjolnir wouldn't weigh much as shown.

@jashugan: She is worthy based on what? The fact that ahe used to do it long before the first Thor movie where Odin placed the enchantment that only the worthy can wield it on it? She is the absokutely last person worthy of it, since Odin basically placed the enchantment on it to prevent Thor from turning out the same way as Hela.

@stahlflamme: in this post you admit that Hela was worthy and don't provide any proof that her worthy enchantment was removed therefore rendering your post pointless.

You couldn't bang my girlfriend if you tried and I don't keep animals around me. No need to fantasize or continuously get off topic.

Because said hammer is magical mumbo jumbo that was destroyed by magical mumbo jumbo.
you can literally post YouTube videos, that's far better than a gif.
