I assume that vs means "to the death."

So when somebody says someone vs someone but no BFR, to me that's an oxymoron. How is BFRing someone considered a kill? How can it be considered a victory?

To me, BFRing is when say the Hulk punches Juggernaut into another continent. But if the Hulk wants to kill (the only REAL victory) Juggernaut [hypothetically speaking], he would immediately SEEK AND DESTROY until the job was executed. It would just take longer to accomplish. I have not seen a time limit to VS battles in this forum yet.

If you really want to win and kill your oppenent, how is BFRing a desicive victory? If BFRing is accidental OK. But it can also simply be a means to stall or escape, or surrendering to the fact that one cannot face a particular opponent in a battle to the death.

To me BFR only becomes relevant if you are considering a mass combat situation. But one on one, isn't it irrelavant?

But seriously, not all fights are to the death. KO, BFR, and such are legitimate ways to win unless otherwise stated.

When Deities are concerned, there is no such thing as to the death. The victor can only win through containment, hence BFR. P.S: Juggernaut can't be killed by anything in comic books when/if he is powered by the Cyttorak deity. In order to kill Cain, someone has to go back in time and kill Cain before he discovers the Cyttorak artifact.

Vs doesn't always mean "to the death." Unless otherwise stated, I assume killing, BFR, KO, etc. are acceptable. This is why it's best if the OP specifies important things like this (as well as location, equipment, etc.)

people fight each other all the time in comics without killing. most heroes don't kill as a matter of fact. bfr is often a way for a hero to deal with a villain in a quick and decisive manner.

Indeed especially if they can't fly and possess a threat like when Superman grabbed Parasite out of the group of villans knowing very well that he would serve a threat if he touched him. Which he grabbed him and BFRed him at super speeds.

Vs doesn't always mean "to the death." Unless otherwise stated, I assume killing, BFR, KO, etc. are acceptable. This is why it's best if the OP specifies important things like this (as well as location, equipment, etc.)

Indeed especially if they can't fly and possess a threat like when Superman grabbed Parasite out of the group of villans knowing very well that he would serve a threat if he touched him. Which he grabbed him and BFRed him at super speeds.

When Deities are concerned, there is no such thing as to the death. The victor can only win through containment, hence BFR. P.S: Juggernaut can't be killed by anything in comic books when/if he is powered by the Cyttorak deity. In order to kill Cain, someone has to go back in time and kill Cain before he discovers the Cyttorak artifact.

Vs doesn't always mean "to the death." Unless otherwise stated, I assume killing, BFR, KO, etc. are acceptable. This is why it's best if the OP specifies important things like this (as well as location, equipment, etc.)
