I would definitely say Sam wins in a location like this. However in a fair environment Agent 47 would have a good chance as well.

Marcus doesn't belong here, swap him out. He's a soldier not an explorer/assassin. His only bonus is his gun is gonna one shot anyone even if its not a back to the skull head shot or something like that.

as for the thread I might side Sam due to it being in the jungle. In an Urban environment 47 vs sam would be even and could go either way.

In a jungle environment, her stealth should be better.

Off the top of my head, I haven't played the Tomb Raider games recently enough to be able to name specific feats of her stealth. But I remember that lots of what she does is sneaking through the same sorts of environment, and it would make the most sense logically.

I don't see why. Sam has loads of jungle experience given how damn old he is. And We've seen him succeed in jungle warfare in both the Pandora Tomorrow game and the Checkmate novel.

@allstarsuperman: Sam and 47 are both experienced in jungle stealth, but I think Lara's experience is much better in that area because it's what she does almost exclusively. She seems to be a much better survivor in that she can lay traps and live off the land which is important considering the starting distance, and her stealth style utilizes the jungle by using foliage as cover as opposed to Sam doing basically the same techniques but in a different setting. That said I haven't read the novel, so if I'm missing something feel free to correct me.
