Xamp install of Composer not working in Windows 10 command prompt
I am new learner for Laravel 5.7. I have some issue installing Composer on my machine.
My machine is Windows 10 and Composer will install successfully for composer.exe file from the this URL: https://getcomposer.org/doc/00-intro.md#installation-windows. This is successfully installed but in command prompt, the command composer -V
is not showing.
And one dialog box will come. How to run Composer; I will check the both administrator and normal user.
Here I will show the some screen shots:
Here this is the command prompt for my system; php -v is working but composer -v not working
My environment variables screen shot
My path extensions also
laravel composer-php windows-10 environment-variables laravel-5.7

It might be you need to set php.exe as your default application for phar files.
To do that, find the phar file installed by your windows installer, then right click->property->default app).
Also see this question: Windows 8: .phar files, how do you want to open
Hope that helps. Im not at windows to test at the moment.
