Fluentd not Starting

0

I am using the Fluentd tool for collecting the logs and this is first time I am working with Fluentd. I have installed td-agent package and it starts fine by /etc/init.d/td-agent start . But then I changed the td-agent.conf file located in /etc/td-agent directory. When I am using my own config file to test if everything is working fine then fluentd is not starting and giving error

[....] Starting td-agent (via systemctl): td-agent.serviceJob for td-agent.service failed because the control process exited with error code. See "systemctl status td-agent.service" and "journalctl -xe" for details.

I am testing a basic flow to read logs from a .log file and print to other file.

My config file is given below:

## File input
## read apache logs continuously and tags td.apache.access
<source>
@type tail
format none
path /var/log/test-fluent/testfile.log
pos_file /var/log/test-fluent/testfile.log
</source>

## File output
## match tag=local.** and write to file
<match **>
@type file
path /var/log/test-fluent/
time_slice_format %Y%m%d%M
</match>
