NVIDIA JetPack3.3 installation inside docker

0

I am trying to create a docker container in which I could install Jetpack3.3 (https://developer.nvidia.com/embedded/jetpack-3_3) from a GUI

To do so, I share my xhost in order to display the interface from the docker container. The problem I face is that during the installer of JetPack3.3 should prompt an authenticate popup, which never come, and can't continue the installation (it should be prompted during Package Management, right before the download begin) and the installer doesn't accept that I start it as root.

I do not know if the problem comes from a missing package that is required for this GUI authenticate popup to appear or does the problem comes from the xhost sharing?

and is there any way to install jetpack3.3 from commandline only?

Here is my Dockerfile:

FROM ubuntu:16.04
RUN apt-get update
RUN apt-get -y upgrade
RUN apt-get -y install sudo
RUN apt-get -y install xterm
RUN apt-get -y install usbutils

RUN apt-get -y install libgtk2.0-0

RUN useradd -ms /bin/bash user

ADD --chown=user:user /jetpack /home/user/jetpack

#USER user

start the container as follow:

docker run --rm -it --privileged -v /dev/bus/usb:/dev/bus/usb -v /tmp/.X11-unix:/tmp/.X11-unix:ro -v ~/.Xauthority:/home/user/.Xauthority:ro -e DISPLAY interface

and start the installer with:

su -c ./jetpack3-3.run user
