Google Cloud Vision Text Detection On iOS Device

0

I am trying to detect texts on image which is taken by device camera and also image which is picked from gallery. ( For the camera, i am using apple's camera codes-AVFoundation-)

I can detect texts on image which is picked from gallery. But however, when i take a picture with camera, same codes are not working the same. I predict that cloud vision has a good detection on images which is edited(saved). Or i do not have any other idea.

When i take a picture and try to detect that code, its not working. But when i save the same picture and pick that from gallery, Working perfectly. Here i share the codes, hope you can help me.

ImagePicker Codes which is working perfectly:

 @objc internal func imagePickerController(_ picker: UIImagePickerController, didFinishPickingMediaWithInfo info: [String : Any]) {
if let editedImage = info["UIImagePickerControllerEditedImage"] as? UIImage
imageView.image = editedImage
let vision = Vision.vision()
let textRecognizer = vision.onDeviceTextRecognizer()
let visionImage = VisionImage(image: editedImage)
textRecognizer.process(visionImage) (features, error) in
features?.blocks.forEach( (block) in
print(block.text)
)

dismiss(animated: true, completion:
UIApplication.shared.statusBarStyle = UIStatusBarStyle.lightContent
)

Taking picture button codes which is not working good:

 @IBAction func takePicture(_ sender: Any)
cameraController.captureImage (image, error) in
guard let image = image else
print(error ?? "Image capture error")
return

self.imageView.image = image
let vision = Vision.vision()
let textRecognizer = vision.onDeviceTextRecognizer()
let visionImage = VisionImage(image: image)
textRecognizer.process(visionImage) (features, error) in
features?.blocks.forEach( (block) in
print(block.text)
)
