Lol who and how can someone debate Mortal Kombat. Everyone is an inconsistent mid tier street leveler even the "gods" but you get a clear defined ranking if you play the story. There aren't any decent feats to even go off of.

No, MK on CV isn't dead, just dormant. When a new game, or just new content that pushes the lore, is released, the sparks will fly again.

Personally, all the fights I've wanted to debate and see, I've debated or have seen. For a little while I was "forcing" some threads, but that gets old fast. Regardless, I'm hoping some interesting debates get stirred up at some point in the near future.

1. It's easy. MK has a lot of strong, well defined and fleshed out characters; it's easily my favorite franchise. There are a lot of quality MK debates on CV if you are really interested.

Just like any other franchise, you just have to know the material, how to present it, and your golden.

3. Pick a character, and I'll try and show you a "decent" feat appropriate for their level. Also, you can just check out an OLD fight I did between Harley Quinn vs Mileena. I had fun putting together a feats post for Mileena way back when.

@OniLordAsmodeus: I can tell you're passionate about Mortal Kombat, I used to be the same way but I have to be serious. The lines between the ranks are blurred af, you can say it is just PIS and inconsistencies but it happens alot. I love the MKX comic and the game's story and it happens way too oftenly, I'll never forget things like that gay arrow guy beating Kotal Kahn or Raiden being given trouble by demon pawns.

Off topic: Do you have Mortal Kombat X on Xbox?

@jagerzi: Yeah, I agree. Though some of those instances are plausible and can be explained somewhat (Raiden and Fujin have to recharge every so often for instance, not to mention that Shinnok knows this weakness, and has fought Raiden and friends before), but yeah, there can be better story presentation at those points to smooth over these things.

And yeah, I have MKX on Xbox, but honestly that isn't my favorite MK game. Add to that, the fact that when the Xbone released, I was all about Killer Instinct anyway... I haven't played MKX really since the first month of release.

I miss those days when the die hard MK fans deluded themselves thinking MK characters were above street level and they were pitted against anime mid tiers.

Also I had fun as...someone else.

In terms of the battle forums, it may well be because no one in the MKU has a consistent set of feats. No matter what, every character seems to put the beatdown on every character.
