• MCU Thanos versus Composite Pre-Motherbox Supes. Since hopefully this will make the fight fair for Thanos, statements by directors and feats scaling from Ronan and the Celestial are valid for him. I didn't see anything inconsistent with what he did in IW(Destroying a moon) that goes against what Ronan or the Celestial did(Haven't seen GOTG 1 in awhile, if I recall right the Celestial just shattered the crust off the planet, not obliterated the planet entirely) and only on-screen feats for Supes.


• Thanos has the Power Stone, Reality and Space Stones(No phasing, anything else is allowed.)


• Speed is NOTequalized but Supes can't speedblitz.


• Both are in-character and morals off. Not fighting bloodlusted though.


• Win by death or BFR(Thanos) Death or K.O(Supes)


• If this in a stomp in all certainty in favor of Supes, add in all of the Children of Thanos(Gamora and Nebula included) with all gear. Anything change?

Wanted to make a thread without limiting Supes speed, as I think Thanos could actually stand a chance. Maybe not win, but atleast not ''LOL SUPES STOMPS''

Damn it dude, a simple Thanos without Infinity Stones would suffice here. No need to alter speeds neither. Off-the-wall Thanos still wins 8/10.

Still Superman. Only thing different here is that Thanos doesn't get blitzed and one shotted, he simply gets one shotted with a super speed punch enough to derail a whole line of 150 ton trains cars with Nam Eks body.

By durability feats, Thanos is good for approximately one of those. So that's how he'll get put down.

As far as the stones, if Iron Man, who is street level with no prior resistance to significant energy attacks and Strange are able to block and no sell power gem blasts, Superman can simply dodge it, or no sell it with his arms. I don't see how the reality stone is all that effective, and I'm not convinced the reality stone can transmute someone with Superman's level durability. He has already tanked a form of transmutation when he escaped from the pull of Kyrptonian matter in the Phantom Zone.

I'm not convinced the stone would effect him. In fact I'm pretty sure Superman is above the stones.

Yeah, still Superman, despite the nerfs lol.

Superman would aim-dodge Thanos's attacks, walk calmly and pummel him to death.
