I would love to see a great (or even just a good) Universal Monsters crossover movie. But that's probably not going to happen.
Look, I initially had a lot of faith in the Dark Universe, I really did. But after The Mummy (2017), I just don't anymore. I feel that the Dark Universe should take a hint from Ahmanet and just stay dead.
The one thing that would revive my faith in the Dark Universe is if Jason Blum were allowed to work on it, which he does want to.

@mrmonster: Yeah, the concept of the Dark Universe is awesome and there's potential for it to be made awesome, it's just suffered from bad writing and directing. I honestly don't think Tom Cruise belongs in the universe, he should keep all that action in Mission: Impossible which he's cool in. I read somewhere that Blumhouse is looking to acquire the Dark Universe from Universal, that would mean a much lower budget but if they can stick to the classical horror aspects of the old films with a touch of modernisation, they won't need a big budget and could still make the films well.

Star Wars/Aliens. You simply can't go wrong with that.
In theory, I'd prefer the Universal Monsters crossover, but in execution it would take an actual genius to make one that is both great and scary.
Avatar was a completely forgettable movie, so not that crossover.

@mrmonster: They should have just continued from Wolfman. It was actually good. And felt like a classic universal horror film.

Star Wars/Aliens. You simply can't go wrong with that.
In theory, I'd prefer the Universal Monsters crossover, but in execution it would take an actual genius to make one that is both great and scary.
Avatar was a completely forgettable movie, so not that crossover.

@quinlan58: The Star Wars/Aliens crossover is entirely possible now that Disney is in the process of buying Fox.

@thanos_thebadas: But then everyone would be voting for that one, I only wanted to see the preference between this variety. Also, why bother commenting when you have no input?
