@asgardianbrony: That's interesting choice. I would dare to say that there are stronger characters than Elrond. For example Prince Nuada or Letho of Gulet. Imlerith is debatable

@xerolot: Mvp in team 2 is elrond. Especially him being a high elv. Thranduil coming in second due to how good he is H2H

Weak link for team 1 would be the mountain since (IMO) he's just standing out there and legolas will snipe him.

Elrond is pretty versatile to right? and high elves are OP in LOTR, they could even take on balrogs.

@asgardianbrony: Depends what versatile mean. He has only his elvish sword. More versatile (due to gear) is Vernon Roche (commader of medieval kingdom special forces) who carry 2h sword, 1h sword, mace, throwing knives and crossbow.

Yea High Elves from the old ages were op but Elrond doesn't have such feats. His best feat is taking on ringwraiths

@xerolot: im pretty sure Elrond has some magic abilities.

@asgardianbrony: He wields one of the not corrupted rings. He's great healer and he has great wisdom/knowledge. He can command the river near Rivendell but that's basically everything. He's just very experienced, old warrior who is definitely in top10 of Lotr characters from third age but I wouldn't said that he's the mvp. Overall this is his greatest feat: 1. Person like Letho of Gulet should do this without any help.

@asgardianbrony: He and Gandalf used a river against Nazguls but the circumstances were unknow so it's not a combat feat. Other than that he could use ósanwe and contacted Galadriela telepathically IIRC. In combat he is a swordsman, that's all.

Team elves for a solid but not easy majority.

We can scale from live-action Legolas and assume that a First-Age battle hardened warrior of the Noldor would be exceptionally skilled and capable. Look at how Thranduil utterly fodderised Tauriel.

I'd say that Letho, Elrond or Imlerith would be the last men standing. In a slog like this, probably Imlerith due to teleportation and armour.

no idea who would come out on top, in a melee, lots of factors. but if i had to choose, it would be an elf.

@xerolot: team 1 will win because of the witchers this guys are no joke especially olgierd who is immortal and a good fighter who managed to put up a good fight against geralt of rivia and also leo bonhart is no joke if you guys read the books and played the witcher game trilogy you would know the elves(team 2) would lose sure their strong but the witchers are no joke especially letho of gullet who is almost equal to geralt the guy who managed to beat DETTLAFF(vampire) and imlerith. Now i know these elves could take big monsters like you guys mentioned trust me i watched them fight in the movies especially in the hobbit, hellboy and lord of the rings, etc and also read the books. But the witchers have fought worst than those monsters, they have dealt with dragons, other monsters (there are too many of them just read the books and play games if u want, higher vampires(cannot be killed, immortal) this vampires are not like the vampires that u watched in the movies their more powerful here is the link of a higher vampire(dettlaff):https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S-Td_aETp4I also this vampire can control other lesser vampire like an army. I have to admit this is kinda unfair because team 1 have the numbers not only that but the team also have powerful and strong individuals(im talking about the witchers and olgierd). The most powerful character on team 2 is imlerith which geralt of rivia defeated remember there are three witchers on team 1 and this witchers are very close to geralt's skills in one on one. Now i still have many feats to show for imlerith and other characters for team 1 and team 2 but its too long so just research about their feats and play the witcher games and read the books if ur interested and watch movies.

So in conclusion team 1 wins handily

imlerith is EASILY the strongest character here with the best armour and weapon, team two wins with little difficulty
