Hela Odinsdottir beats him. She easily tanked an attack that was able to kill Ares. Plus she looked a lot cooler and Cate Blanchett is an absolute Fox.

Been done. Ares.

Been done. Still Ares. Hela has officially only one superpower, which is ability to create weapons - big and small, all shapes and kinds. And she is really good at throwing them around. That's not a bad power to have, but it's far from universal. (Also it's easily countered by powers such as Ares's Telekinesis) Especially that her weapons are not indestructible. To the contrary, Skurge was able to destroy a pillar she made with a machine gun shot which puts her constructs at pretty low durability.

Anyway, it's that one power of creating weapons versus:

- Instant teleportation. Both in combat speed at short range and between countries.

- Telepathy. Can literally enter your mind and project illusions in it.

- Mind manipulation. Was basically satan in DCEU, walking around humans and tempting them to do all sorts of thing and putting ideas in their heads.

- Invisibility. Can walk around invisible

- Intangibility. Can walk around like a ghost, transparent and walking through things.

- Thermokinesis. Can use it to burn even powerful magical weapons to a crisp in seconds by touching them. Another good way to counter Hela's weapons.

- Lightning control. Can project lightning powerful enough to create massive explosions or summon them from the sky and create such deadly force he can even kill gods in one blast.

- Telekinesis. Strong enough to rip thousands of tons of concrete and soil and lift them in the air with one hand. Scary stuff. Also he can just use it to hold you in place or to block incoming attacks.

- Levitation and flight. Powerful mobility advantage over Hela who can jump around at best.

- Creating all kinds weapons out of debris around (sounds familiar? :) )

- Ability to summon his armor from debris around - this armor didn't have a scratch after a bloodlusted god powered Diana punched him in the face several times. The weapons and armor Ares creates are much more powerful

- And add on top of that stats like durability, strenght and speed that dwarf Wonder Woman's. And she's the girl that matched Doomsday and Superman so yeah, this dude is strong.

People say Ares is weak because he was killed off fast, but they forget he was only defeated with his own power reflected at him by PIS, which is not something that is going to happen in matches like these. Not to mention he was holding back on Diana, because he needed her help to rule the world. A fully powered Ares cleared an entire Olympus alone, including killing Zeus, who is a literaly god and a reality warper powerful enough to create races or entire countries with ease. Hela both in skills, abilties and feats is not even close to Ares.

Ares loses. he couldn't hurt Diana, he isn't hurting hela by any means. no matter the amount of note the guy above me just wrote lol^

Because 95% of entire movie he was toying with Diana before he really underestimated her might then he got 1 shoted by own reflected evaporating thunder which made day time change on the end of battle

Everone knows that Ares stomps Hela but comicvine is filled with marvel wankers so they are cowards to mention his all powers and pretends hela is stronger on the contrary her feats negates this. I thought i am braindamaged why i think this thread is mismatch in favour of Ares but u makes me believe i am smart guy. Ares has tooooooo many powers which will overhelm Hela
