I wanna know what it’s running on, what are the recommended specs. Do I need to upgrade my PC? Probably by the time it comes out, but by how much? I can’t afford one of the new 2080 cards at $1,200.

@saberscar223: I don't have to upgrade , I'm upgrading because I like to have the best for gaming and I have money to do that with.

You also do have to worry about upgrading on consoles, if you didn't you'd still be playing Atari. Unlike PC where you can get away with using 10 year old hardware, you can't do that period on consoles, when a new console releases, you either buy it or get left behind.

I like PC because I have options and cheaper games.

@emperorb777: Consoles come out like every 6 years and yes you still have to keep up but computer tech moves and upgrades so fast if you get the latest tech it’ll be outdated within a couple of months

@saberscar223: A PC doesn't have to be upgraded regularly, honestly you can upgrade every 6 or so years since consoles are outdated upon release.

@emperorb777: yeah that’s true but the main reason I stay away from pc is because it’s so easy to hack and cheat on there and dig into a games files. I have never ran into a cheater,Modder,hacker on consoles before.

If you enjoy console gaming good for you, I did as well at one point but with the release of the most recent consoles and how they're honestly trash (Xbox One X and Switch not so much), I went primarily PC gaming and never looked back.

I like the options PC gaming offers.

@emperorb777: yeah I think the One X was impressive the switch I am a little disappointed with because I went in with unreal expectations. I thought it’d be at most as powerful as a 360 at least when on docking but it looks the same regardless. I don’t know what’s up with Nintendo and not having at least decent graphics

@emperorb777: Best Buy retails the “NVIDIA - GeForce RTX 2080 Ti Founders Edition 11GB GDDR6 PCI Express 3.0 Graphics Card“ at $1,199.00. Newegg has the card listed at a similar price right now but is “out of stock”. I heard they’re only selling them as part of a more expensive bundle, too but I didn’t research that out yet. The cards are going to go for a premium price for at least the first six months after release. I want one because that much power is sexy even if very few games will utilize that power for a year or more. I would wager that Cyberpunk will be one of them.

@Penguin-Dust: You said 2080 not 2080ti lol, the 2080 from what I remember is $700 give or take and the 2080ti is for sure $1,200 with the chance of other brands besides Nvidia being cheaper.

You're damn right power is sexy and hopefully Cyberpunk takes full advantage of the new cards. Hopefully CDPR doesn't cater too much to consoles and allow the PC version to shine as the best of the bunch. I like everything that I saw from the gameplay reveal and if CDPR delivers, than Rockstar will finally have some competition so that they'll step up their game.
