I'd personally love to see a "Teen Titans" movie set in the DCEU.

I know there's already a "Titans" show, but the trailer looks all wrong and I feel like it's gonna suck.

My personal idea for a Teen Titans movie would have Lex Luthor and Deathstroke as the villains, with a Teen Titans team consisting of:

Nightwing (Dylan O'Brien)

Cyborg (Ray Fisher)

Starfire (Zendaya Coleman)

Kid Flash (Nick Robinson)

Superboy (Dylan Sprayberry)

Beast Boy (Logan Lerman)

Raven (Anya Taylor-Joy)

The villains would be Lex Luthor and Deathstroke. The story is, Nightwing begins putting together a team consisting of Cyborg, Wally West, Starfire, Beast Boy and Raven. They go on missions together, and then stumble upon Superboy, Lex Luthor's Superman clone. Luthor finds out and sends Deathstroke to kill them. They defeat him, and everything is fine.

Only if they use the original comic book interpretation of Starfire. The battle trained warrior princess badass and not the "space ditz" the cartoons portray her as.

No. God no. Post 2008 they don't seem to know what to do with the Teen Titans. They keep approaching the material like they're ashamed of it these days.

The last thing I want is for a Teen Titans movie to be an outright destruction porn devoid of personality and soul. I'm good.

A movie has to find out what it really wants to do. Is it a single movie project, not intended to follow up? Or is it a trilogy like everything else? Or a franchise going even further?

As a single movie, I would perhaps prefer if it stuck with the Fab Five: Robin, Donna Troy, Wally West, Garth and Speedy simply coming together as teens to fight crime and hang out... like the vibe Shazam appears to be aiming for. Also I would imagine you'd need to make the team around 15'ish of age to really get some distance between them and Cyborg and Flash who are both quite young still in JL.

A trilogy and franchise effort... New Teen Titans definitely, and have a non-intrusive plan for it all. Like start the first movie out with simply the team being drawn together by Raven who will remain vague on why she actually did it, before the movie becomes mostly about recruiting and saving Starfire from her pursuers. Close the movie with an end credits, scene like JL where Deathstroke gets the task of either killing or recruiting the team before they can become a problem to Luthor. Second movie it's about Slade doing just that with a certain amount aid to do so from like the Fearsome Five. Movie ends with another hint of how badly the fight has affected Raven. Third movie, Trigon, Raven goes south and it's up to the team to stop and save her. Maybe Trigon comes through, maybe they manage to slam the door in his face, but either way you could end it with one Titan dead or liberated. I prefer liberated since I dont think death is needed to add weight to a story... or do the switch and have them die and be brought back.

Except that the current Titans show set to debut this year wasn't headed by Snyder but shows clear signs that nobody at WB learned from their fucking mistakes...
