I know that I am late but I am finally getting around to binge watching those netflix shows. I am on Jessica Jones season one. Then it's luke cage. I heard that ironfist was boring, is it that bad? also, is it necessary to watch to understand the rest of the shows or can I skip it.

Yeah you need to watch Iron Fist to watch the Defenders to be honest

I didn't finish IF and still watched TD. But it would be good to do it.

Watch it while keeping in mind that K'un-Lun didn't make Danny wiser, it just made him internalize his emotions, which is why he's so stupid. If you want a more simple explanation, you can tell yourself that he is mentally challenged.

good gosh the first episode of ironfist is boring and just dumb. please tell me it gets somewhat better at least. no wonder this show almost destroyed the netflix universe. the first episode makes no sense whatsoever. he is running around trying to convince people that he is danny rand which is something that he could easily do.

IF gets better in the 2nd half. First half is pretty damn terrible.

Still better than the slow paced punisher though. I still haven’t finished that show.

IF is not as bad as people make it out to be. I'd say, watch it. If not, then before Defenders, just watch a recap video on YT.

I watched The Defenders without watching anything other than Daredevil.

You'll be fine as long as you can make inferences here and there to fill in the gaps.
