Umgeben wird Agey von der Gemeinde Prâlon im Norden, von Sainte-Marie-sur-Ouche im Osten, von Gissey-sur-Ouche im Süden und von Remilly-en-Montagne im Westen. Agey liegt etwa 18 Kilometer südöstlich der Stadt Dijon.
