@jashro44: in Hickman's New Avengers he was hit by Terrax's axe and was fine. Ares axe hit him in the face and only left a small scratch.

Regardless, Thor doesn't have feats that would suggest that he is capable of even tickling Namor's balls with Stormbreaker's edge. This is lockworthy. Namor would solo the verse if there were no Dormammu.

@jashro44: @abezethibou: The knife didn't do much to him. If anything, that scene was actually something of a strength feat if you consider the context. Right after the knife stab he took a Black Bolt shout, fell from a ridiculous height and got back up as if nothing had happened.

Because its hard to tell if he was hit with the blade. He could have been hit with the cosmic energy we see ripping up the ground. T'challa is also flying in that scan and I doubt he was hit with the axe.

@jashro44: BP is clearly flying because of the shockwaves that ripped the ground beneath his feet.

We see the trajectory of the axe and Namor being right in the middle of it. I don't see why he wouldn't be hit by it.

Namor has a healing factor so the knife didn't kill him but it still pierced him. Also the part about namor getting back up like nothing happened is an exaggeration. He was down for a few minutes after that, and T'challa even said he couldn't shrug off the scream and the fall.

Concerning black bolts shout I think black bolt was also holding back. Black bolt would have likely killed T'challa if he went all out which wasn't his intention. This can be supported by the fact that Hickman had a mind controlled black bolt who had been reduced to 50% of his power one shot namor during infinity.

I just don't think its all that clear. Do you have anything else for Namor in terms of piercing?

@jashro44: I remember Ares hitting him in the face with his axe and it only leaving a small scratch in Invaders/Avengers.

That said, being gutted never bothered Namor anyway. I remember Wolverine gutting him and Namor being fine afterwards. That's not even going into "piercing durability is not a thing" thing.

This is true. But still if Namor can be hurt I think Thor would have a chance.

Corvus in your scan says he smelled blood. I don't see how this contradicts the previous issue. He asked thanos permission to walk up to Namor and talk to him, and he was pretty far away. Probably took him a few minutes to reach Namor enforcing the fact Namor was down for some time.

Yeah no. Namor can beat him with clearly superior stats in everything. Stormbreaker has no piercing feats bar cutting Thanos, which isn't close to suggesting he could do the same here.

Considering later in the same comic that axe cut through Iron Man's Extremis armour, and considering Ares is definitely strong enough to one-shot MCU Thor, Thor is not doing anything to Namor period.
