Unable To Create Postgres DB In DataGrip Password Authentication Failed

I am trying to setup a Postgres DB on DataGrip and upon clicking "Test Connection" I am prompted for my password that I setup upon creation of the database.



I am extremely unsure what is happening that causes this issue. I have tried to create a new database several times now, with different usernames and passwords with no success.
