Is there a way to decrease the line spacing/height in Netbeans 8.2 Java?
I have some projects which print out ASCII images, and I don't like the spacing it adds in between lines. Is there a way to remove it?
Example 1
Example 2
java output netbeans-8

[1] For example 1 you could try an alternative font and/or font size in the output window: Tools > Options > Miscellaneous > Font / Font Size. Obviously only monospaced fonts would work for your output. [2] You can also dynamically change the font size using CTRL/UpArrow and CTRL/DownArrow. [3] I don't know how you are producing example 2, so I have no suggestions. [4] Regardless, I know of no way to explicitly control the line spacing; NetBeans isn't a word processor! It's just a matter of seeing whether you like the output more when using a different font and/or size.
