Not really. Joker is a literal cash cow, why couldn't we get movies around Riddler, Two Face ect.

Well DCU is working a lot on their villain movies, so if the numbers for this one go well they will probably explore other characters, in similar fliks to this one. It's only obvious that after how things did not work as expected for DCEU, they would be cautious with what they do, and Joker does bring the "guarantee" of been one of their most popular characters.

I for one would love to see the Riddler under Scorsese's direction.

I'm happy to be getting a break from the DCEU but a Joker movie is not the sort of thing I would have had in mind.

That does look interesting. I did however fall in love with Phoenix's interpretation of Commodus in Gladiator.
