The entire Chitauri invasion scenario with the original Avengers replaced by other characters in the Universe. Some New Avengers and some not. Does the Team Save New York from Loki, His Army and the Nuke?

I think they`ll be able to best this scenario even more so than the original team of Avengers.

The outcome should be much better with a lot less casualties vision could literally close the portal himself(mind gem) and scarlet witch can save a lot more people only thing is they lose their brute strength(hulk and Thor) so they have to close the portal before the rest of the leviathans get released.

Basically can the newest members stack up to Hulk and Thor's assistance which was confined to mass slaying of opponents. Given how many there are, as well as War Machine, Scarlet Witch, and Vision's high damage output and the latter two's unique sets, most likely yes. More people like Spidey, Black Panther, and Ant Man on the ground would also mean less casualties. Just imagine a miniature leviathan. Or a giant (x2) leviathan!

They do just as good if not better

nothing matters except defeating loki, closing the portal and carrying the SHIELD nuke into the portal. i think with vision and wanda there, they should manage that much.

Vision is MVP.

Truly believe this team would do at least as well as the original team, seeing how powerful Vision and Scarlet Witch are. The street levelers on this squad are a lot more powerful and versatile than the original squad.

The only issue is how quickly Vision figures to close the portal, as they'll have trouble with the leviathans, although Scott being here makes me think he could shrink them out of being a factor.

There's no situation that this team doesn't stop the invasion.

The only thing I'm sure about is that WS would be the one mind controlled by Loki.

Wanda can potentially solo

Honestly, Wanda or Vision could solo. The only problem with that would be saving the civilians, other than that the Chitauri are no match for them.

Avengers: Wanda can take out the Leviathans. War Machine is great at clearing fodder. Plus the others are there so they shouldn't have too much trouble.

The Avengers succeed.

The new avengers will due the original avengers proud, winter soldier, spidey, and BP would be the ground forces simliar how cap and widow was. Vision and Wanda would have to deal with the leviathans, war machine and falcon would be air support, and ant man will be the Jack of all trades.
