So, superman has taken on some badasses in his day, but can he destroy the Saturn sized badass God who can himself destroy earth by merly being close to it?

Unicron is indeed an impressive sight to behold. I mean, he's big; but not as big as Saturn. Probably as big as Earth's Moon, if not smaller. But with that massive size, he should have the strength to bash the Earth into dust. He can travel as fast as a commet. Don't know if he has teleportation powers or whatnot. He can shoot giant beams from his eyes, and has protective body cell's that can rip ordinary things apart. No one is really sure what kind of metal alloy Unicron or any Transformer is made out of, but i would assume it's special and even more advance than titanium alloy. Let's just say his exterior can handle a dozen nuclear blast before getting a single dent in it. Very intimidating this guy.. Very powerful and fearful.

But against Superman?

Superman is so cheap; he's probably the cheapest hero in all existence. I mean, his strength alone is nearly infinite. I bet if Unicron were standing on top of Earth, Superman would be able to pick him up and toss him away. Superman's heat vision is like 100's to a 1000 times more intense than Cyclops' most powerful Optic Blast; if needed be. His freeze breath, is sooo cold; it could turn Iceman into an unmovable Ice Statue! He can run almost as fast as FLASH! but he can fly 10 to 100 times faster than FLASH (warp Speeds)

Unicron wouldn't be able to match up against Superman. for one, Superman is too small for Unicron to catch, but yet; Superman is just as strong or even stronger than Unicron. I don't know guy. Superman would win this one... Unless Unicron has some Kryptonite aboard, Unicron wouldn't stand a chance.

Not only is Unicron larger and humanoid with a ridiculous array of weapons; he's also the God of chaos, created the universe in a battle and has destroyed galaxies while not paying attention to them.

Only reason he was destroyed was because the Autobots had the essence of the God of Order, the second creator of the universe and Unicrons eternal enemy, and released it inside him.

I don't think the fight with superman'd be so easy as some of you think. If superman actually got unicrons attention I think the man of steel'd be flattened like a bug. He actually is the size of saturn (at least in the mags I have), and if superman can be hurt by anything I'd expect that anything to be a earth-sized fist coming at him at light-speed, or eye-beams powerfull enough to make the most powerful super-nova look like a new years eve rocket.

1. UNICRON HAS AN CAN REGENERATE FASTER THAN ANY OF SUPERMAN'S HITS

2.UNICRON CAN SENSE FROM 0.2 LIGHTYEARS AWAY

3.UNICRON CAN NEVER DIE AND FEARS NOTHING BUT THE MATRIX.

4. HE IS MASSIVE AND UNSTOPPABLE.

5. IF SUPERMAN MANAGES TO KILL HIM UNICRON WILL COME BACK EVEN STRONGER SO HE IS ALSO LIMITLESS. THE QUESTION SHOULD BE HOW MANY TIMES CAN SUPERMAN KILL UNICRON UNTIL HE CANNOT ANYMORE.

I would say maybe 12 times because we might be mentioning superman maxed out from a blue star cause even the absorbing the sun can destroy the eqrth in one go. Superman has impressive feats. His power is limitless but limited at the same time while unicron has absolutely no limit.

If Unicron really is the size of a planet he wins, that means he can deadlift other planets and he got his tech.

Comics Unicron would stomp Comics Superman.

Comics Superman would beat Animated Movie 1986's Unicron with some difficulty (Basically would give 6/10 or 7/10 to Superman)

I was thinking either New 52 Superman or Post-Crisis Superman. Either one of them could beat 1986 Unicron (The original version), but the comics version of Unicron was apparently multiversal (What Transformers comics readers had claimed).

@donatellorawks: He was multiversal but it's retconned. One of the character put barriers between universes so Unicron and Primus are no longer Multiversal.

hmmm i didn't read about that. Nevertheless, it still doesn't prove that standard Superman is above comics version of Unicron anyway.
