Naruto beat Neji and Kakashi was confident that Sasuke would beat Gaara who beat Rock Lee.

Neji beat Naruto who with the Kurama chackra couldn't even touch him ( yes, Neji was the strongest gennin/chunnin in part 1) and Lee could win against Sasuke IF he opens the gates, if not Sasuke could finish him, but then Sasuke wont beat Neji either because he got stomp from Kn0 Naruto who couldnt even touch Neji.

@nerdchore: Naruto won bcause Neji was beeing a cocky kid, and for some plot reasons didnt finish him right of the bat. Without plot Neji would murder him.

Naruto is literally useless in this fight without KN0. If Neji touches Sasuke 1 time he becomes nigh-useless. Lee 5 gates > KN0. Team 2 wins

What? Neji was wrecking Base Naruto. He pretty much trolled Naruto's entire clone army with just his dodging around, and Naruto couldn't land a single hit on him. Naruto needed the Kyuubi chakra to match Neji.

With regard to KN0 Naruto,

Neji lost because Naruto cheap-shotted him and he underestimated him. He matched him fine before that so you're wrongfully implying that Neji lost because he was weaker than Naruto.

Matching KN0 Naruto whose form was the most powerful it had ever been up to that point..

I don’t see how that scan proves that the KN0 he’s using is stronger then Berserk variant he used against Haku. IIRC the training he did with Ero-Senin was summoning Gamabunta for which he had to use Kyuubi chakra. He made no mention of his previous transformation .

How was naruto KN0 so great then? His eyes were still blue that was the weakest usage of kurama chakra for naruto in the series. Team 7 wins. Sasukes doesn't give Lee a chance to go in gates like gaara who just sat there.
