I've always liked him. Still haven't watched DP2. I'll watch it on demand when I have some more free time. But I like what I've seen. Did it do anything for him popularity wise?

Not much but a bit.

@renny: One cool thing about it is that the movie is surprising visually cool.

And there is some other character that helps with character development of wade.

So I've started watching. I'm about half way through. I feel like it dragged a little at the mutant holding facility. But I did like Cable's appearances thus far. I've been told I should hold my opinions until I see the entire film. So I'll wait.

I found it kind of average. But you have to critique Deadpool movies differently from regular movies. Because of the fourth wall, because of the humor. They are unique. I'd probably watch it again. But like you said, a scene or two was longer than it needed to be. The beginning was strong, I thought it would be better.
